The Deputy Minister of
Defence of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Şuay Alpay who was in Jakarta for the
INDODEFENCE Fair visited Monas and Istiqlal Mosque during a sightseeing tour
yesterday for few minutes from outside.
People who saw the Turkish flag on his official car took pictures with him.
His sightseeing tour yesterday has nothing to do with the planned demonstrations in Jakarta today.
The Republic of Turkey has no intention to interfere in domestic issues of the Republic of Indonesia with whom we have excellent relations on all levels.
