Message of condolence by H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey addressed to H.E. Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia concerning the unfortunate earthquake which occured in Aceh on 7 December 2016.

Mr. President,
Dear Brother,
I learnt with deep sorrow about the earthquake in Aceh early this morning, which caused the loss of the lives of people and severe damage.
I convey my heartfelt condolences for those who lost their lives on behalf of myself and my Nation to Your Excellency and the friendly people of Indonesia. I wish speedy recovery from Allah the Almighty for those who were injured.
Same as ever, Turkish people share the sorrow of the brotherly people of Indonesia and stand ready to provide any kind of assistance, if need be.
I hope life would soon return to normal in the affected areas.
